Delete Your Data

You can delete your IziCamera account and everything tied to it at any time. There are two ways: instantly from inside the app, or by sending us a request. Both remove the same data.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the app (instant)

This is the fastest way and removes everything immediately:

1. Open IziCamera and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Tap 🗑 Delete Account.
4. Confirm twice — this is deliberate, because it cannot be undone.

Your account and all data are erased on the spot, and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address you registered with:

[email protected]

Put "Delete my IziCamera data" in the subject line. We use the sending email address to locate and verify your account, then delete it. We complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Whichever option you use, the following are permanently removed:

• Your account and login (email address).
• All of your cameras and their settings.
• All events, motion history and snapshots.
• All recorded clips stored in the cloud.
• Every camera you have shared, and every share granted to you.
• Your notification (push) tokens.
• Any subscription record.

Live video is never stored on our servers — it streams directly between your devices — so there is nothing of it to delete.

What stays, and for how long

• Your own cloud backups (Dropbox). If you connected your own Dropbox, copies there belong to you and live in your Dropbox — we cannot reach them. Delete those from your Dropbox account directly.
• Short-lived operational logs. Server logs that contain no video and are used only to keep the service running and secure are rotated automatically within a short period and are not tied to your identity after deletion.
• Legal minimums. Where the law requires us to retain a limited record (for example, of a deletion request itself), we keep only what is legally necessary and nothing more.
